Chinese New Year 2012: People’s Park

It’s always most festive in Chinatown in the weeks before Chinese New Year. It was so crowded. Every year you can spot people crowding around this board reading their fortune for the dragon year.

The People’s Park Shopping Centre very festively red with the paper dragons. You can’t help feeling cheerful with all the red and gold. Psychologically red is supposed to make you hungry as well and no worries as there is a lot to feast on for Chinese New Year.
