I have tons of nagging tasks, you know those things you know you need to do, but end up being distracted by something else. You are either afraid of them (going to the dentist) or they just seem so tedious (going through bills and sorting your papers) or intimidating (sorting the mountain of stuff in your cupboards).
But somehow when you get them done, you have this feeling that a brick has been lifted off you. I am trying to go off-line a bit and get more stuff done and lead an organized life. So far it’s been eluding me, but I hope to get there one day. I hope one day it becomes as routine as brushing my teeth.
Do tell me if you have any tips or suggestions as to how to make it fun? Or just how to stop procrastinating. I try to break up the tasks into tiny bits and tell myself it’s ok if I just do a few minutes at a time.
My biggest problem is, there are so many wonderful things to be distracted by including blogging and reading blogs that are impossible to resist.
